    While I'm Waiting

    I’m waiting
    I’m waiting on You, Lord
    And I am hopeful
    I’m waiting on You, Lord
    Though it is painful
    But patiently, I will wait

I will move ahead, bold and confident
    Taking every step in obedience

    While I’m waiting
    I will serve You
    While I’m waiting
    I will worship
    While I’m waiting
    I will not faint
    I’ll be running the race

    Even while I wait

    I’m waiting
    I’m waiting on You, Lord
    And I am peaceful
    I’m waiting on You, Lord
    Though it’s not easy
    But faithfully, I will wait
    Yes, I will wait

I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting
I will serve You while I’m waiting
I will worship while I’m waiting on You, Lord

This has been "my song" again the last few days. It's hard to stay peaceful while waiting .  . . to be busy serving God, worshiping God, and peacefully, faithfully working while waiting. I'm thankful for the sweet peace that God gives though as I yield myself to Him.

When I stopped in Thursday to pick up Todd from his flight lesson, his flight instructor volunteered that Todd is progressing quite well, and seemed as pleased as I've ever seen this very reserved gentleman. He then warned Todd that his next lesson he's going to be throwing all kinds of simulations at him and to be prepared for ANYTHING. He also was wondering if Todd had his FAA Medical yet--"You know he has to have that before he can solo, don't you?!" So .  . .. ???

Yesterday in addition to the mounds of dirty laundry that were being turned back into stacks of clean, fresh folded laundry ready for drawers and dressers, we also were washing windows and curtains. There's more to go, but the house smells pleasantly of the essential oils we added to the water to wash down the window frames. I hope to do some more wall washing as well today. Plus we are going to look at a used bed for the girl's room--another one with drawers under the bed for more storage space since that is something the girl's seem to need more of. Lots to do today and I'm off to do it with God's help!

DON'T FORGET--TOMORROW IS ORPHAN SUNDAY . . . . Let God lay on your heart a way to help the orphans of the world!

Tomorrow is also the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted church. (I think that's what it's called.)

Hey Hope Ann!  I didn't know that Todd was taking flying lessons!!!  How cool!  Aviation is something of a 'disease' in my family (it's highly contagious; we have a lot of pilots in the family ;op)  Tell him I said "good luck" on his solo!
